AE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of American European Group, Inc., which was formed in 1986 by a small group of investors to meet the insurance needs of residential and commercial policyholders in the states of New Jersey and New York.
AE is pursuing strategic growth in Upstate New York as well as South and Central New Jersey, while preparing for an exciting expansion into Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia. To support this next phase, AE has developed brand-new, industry-leading policy forms that have been filed for regulatory approval, positioning the company to deliver innovative coverage solutions in these new markets.
AE offers its agents and insureds a broad product line and risk appetite and specializes in numerous market segments such as habitational (apartments, condos and 1-4 family dwellings), commercial office buildings, mixed-use occupancy buildings and artisan contractors.
Policies are underwritten by American European Insurance Company, and Rutgers Casualty Insurance Company.
